91 ford ranger

have a 1991 ford ranger 5 speed trans. will a1996 5 speed work in place of the 1991 . can any one help. thanks;lewis from kingman az.

Yes, but how much work it involves depends on what you have in your truck now. I think it would be the m50d, but Im not 100% on that...
