Posted this over at dodgetalk.com in the caravan section and didn't get any replys...so I figured I'd try here.

Have a 91 caravan, 3.3L, auto, etc. showing a code 26 ( inj 1,2 or 3 not reaching peak current, high resistance detected ). So naturally I changed the injectors, all 6 with injectors from another engine I know had no issues. It still throws a code 26.
I was thinking possibly a problem in the harness section between the injectors and the connector on the main harness? ( cleaned the connectors and made sure there was good contact in them already ). Any ideas?

2nd problem its not shifting past 2nd, it shifts from 1st to 2nd fine then stays there (revs around 3000RPM at 60km/hr). I've changed the TCM with another i know is good....no codes showing up for the tranny, I'm thinking either the injector code is pushing it into limp mode or a clogged filter underneath the solinoid pack? or bad solinoid pack? Any ideas?

ok first sounds like you are trying to diagnose a tranny problem with an engine not running right. You need a good voltmeter and unplug the injectors in question and ecm, ground the pin for the injector you are testing with a jump wire to a good clean ground or all the way to the bat, then take your test light from + to the ground of each injector driver and measure the voltage drop from the injec connector and the ecm connector, should be less than .2. Do this for all 3 on power and ground sides to make sure you don't have a broken wire. If they all check ok, you have bad injectors or a bad ecm.

Am i correct in assuming your thoughts are the code 26 is triggering the tranny to go into limp mode?
I know the injectors are good, I took them to a fuel injection shop. They all checked out ok ( the 6 i put on the engine, haven't tested the old ones yet ).
I will do as you suggest and test the wires. I have another harness and ECM so hopefully that's where the problem lies :)
