Let me see your Explorer with 6" of lift pictures. Make sure you post up what size tires you are running on it.

91 with SJ 6" coils, SOA rear. 33x12.5s

You've seen it, but here are some good pics with the 33s on it.

Dang, that means I will probably have to sell my 31's to get some 33's. The wife isn't going to like that.

Those rub just a hair in one spots on the rear of the fenderwells. I'm gonna throw a couple washers under each coil to take care of that, but haven't yet.... 15x8s w/ 3.75 BS btw.. I also may try adjust the radius arm bushing to her the axle to sit a bit farther forward.

Ditchin the BII?

Yea I am getting an Explorer and putting the axles, lift, wheels, and tires under the Explorer. The Explorer axles are going under the BII and it will be back to stock height and then sold.

Nice, kinda what I did. It looked kinda goofy with 31s on it, but it's a lifted soccer mom car so it's kinda goofy anyway, lol. The gearing was stupid deep though.

You do nice work, I'll be waiting to watch your build.

See, I think that looks GOOD! I like room to flex.

There's no issues flexing with 33's on it (or at least I don't have any). That pic with the 31's... well, those were tooooo small.

As flexy as my front end is, I almost hit the 31's on the BII when flexed out.

You gotta remember, the wheel openings on an Explorer are a tad larger than that of a BII. WORST case scenario, you might have to trim about an inch on the lower rear area of the front fender. If when your doing this you use half inch spacers at the radius arm bushings to move the axle forward a tick, you won't have an issue.

That's it with 33's on 15 X 8" wheels... 3.75" back spacing.

Believe it or not, I had more (however slight) issues running 31's on it when the suspension was factory.

It's all up to you now. Let us know what you're gonna do. :icon_thumby:

EDIT: I wonder what it is with lifting RED explorers.... LMAO!

I will probably stick with the 31's for now since they are new. I also plan on custom bumpers and a winch on the front, so that will add a bit of weight too.

The Explorer I have my eye on is red and tan.

here's 6" cut & Turn SOA on 31's

32's would look better. Hmmm, if I could find someone to trade with.
