91 4.0 OHV Oil Level Sensor

My 91 Sploder engine has a leaking oil level sensor. Its not from the gasket, I have already inspected it and even added a little RTV. It appears to be coming from inside where the wiring comes out.

Two questions, is the one for a 91 and 93 the same part?

Anywhere I can get it besides the dealer? Autozone doesnt list it.

Are you talking about the oil pressure sensor near the power steering? My 4.0 is on its third one in 90k miles, got them at orielly and they weren't pricy at all (I think 12 bucks).

Nope, the oil level sensor on the drivers side of the oil pan.

Will it create a code if I just disconnect it and plug it off?

Nope, it may illuminate the light for low oil level but if it does grounding the wire should shut it off (it may be the other way around and you could just cut the wire) I've driven the center out of them and welded them up before, which seems to work just fine.

Exactly opposite.

Grounding that wire turns ON the oil level low light.
Snip the wire and protect it from grounding out.
