what is the inside frame width on a early to mid 90s ranger i know it prob changed in 92 or 93 so both widths would be great please.

84-97 are the same frames

93-97 frames have different frame horns

not sure on width

84-97 is2'3"at the bumper mount and2'4"at the cab for a longbed std cab
ps. mine is an 85

The first gen (83-88) trucks have a very different front end on the frame than the later trucks, the bumper bolts directly to it. I wouldn't say the two are the same, but are probably are close to it aside from that

I'm trying to figure why you want "inside" dimensions and what points you need measured. My 91 2wd is 30" outside, same as my 89 BII 4wd. My 93 2wd is the same too but the gen2 frames have c channel frame horns while the gen3 has rectangular tube. Also the bumper mounting holes are different on all 3. These are all measured at the steering box and radius arm brackets. The inside measures roughly 25" on the 93 because of the wrinkle crush areas formed into the frame. The older models are slightly more.

sorry guys i should have been more specific. i need to know the measurment between under the cab. the reason i want to know is i want to know if its the same as any car front frame rails. i have a buddy that works at a body shop and comes across them all the time dirt cheap. but i need to know what cars to tell him to look for. thanks for your help guys this dang truck as been in plans for about a year hopefully i get to start on it this winter.

o i measured where the bed goes(its off)
i can get u that later today i thimd
the warmth of inside is awsome but snow is better

thanks red and i agree the snow is sooo much better i was out earlier with my 2 year old building snow men and she loved it. it was her first time playing in the snow and she got so mad at me when it was time for her to come in and eat lunch and take a nap
