Update from several months back.
I have this 89 Ranger 2.9 that refused to start and run without spraying something in the throttle body to keep it going.
I danced around several things and then winter set in and I couldn't work on it.
The weather finally got decent enough for me to work. I finally replaced the wiring harness to the injectors, put it together again and it started and continued to run on its own.
Now I have a solid dead miss on one cylinder, but I can find that later today or tomorrow.
This truck has been a nightmare to get up and running.
This forum has been a good help in leading in the right direction, so thanks muchly to everyone
