So I have been throwing the idea around with doing a A arm coil over suspension on the front. I dont see that much infomation on the subject, Has any one done this or thought about it? I would like some thing that will handle and be a bit different when some one wants to play. The 4 link is about done with a narrowed 8.8 and disk brakes so i can tuck my 315/35 R17 is the rear. just throwing the idea out and seeing if i get some answers back.

you could check out some of the lift kits offered for newer model, torsion bar suspension rangers, and maybe retro fit one to your frame, but im not sure what gains you would get from this other than being different.

if its just an 89 extend cab just swap frames to a 98+, all the bolt holes will line up except the front radiator support, the 89 the bumper and the engine mounts would be all the you would have to worry about
