89 Front drive shaft

The strap bolts that bolt to the yoke are in their really good. I cant fit a socket around the head or use a wrench because it slips off. I noticed a Allen head indentation but it is too small and strips out. Is there any tricks to get the bolts out? I already tried needle nose vice grips and it diddnt work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

They are torx head bolts, t27 if i remember correctly.

Spray it with pb blaster then heat that sob up with a torch. should come out easy then!

haha thx, i just dropped the t case without taking it off the yoke

FYI, those bolts are loc-tited from the factory. your best bet is to heat them in order to melt the lock-tite.

the front yoke strap screws are T-30.
