Ok located tcase control module behind seat in side panel. If the red led lights up its good right.

You will drive yourself crazy trying to figure out these elec t cases.

Find you a manual 1350. It is so nice to be able to physically shift the t case. Personally I think it takes less effort. Plus you dont hurt your finger by mashing the button, and you will prevent breaking something by not hitting the dash.

You should be able to find one for around 100 dollars.

For the swap do i just need the t case, shifter and linkages?
I can still use the auto hubs rite?

Im goin to do the swap but rite now tryn to get it goin for upcomin snow supposed in like a wk

The auto hubs work mechanically from the front diff spinning, so yes the manual t-case works with auto hubs. I hate having to back up to unlock those little (kind words.... use kind words...)

Great.. Also do u knw wat the red lite is supposed to do when u hit white button. As long as it lites up its good rite?

If all the fuses are good, the next step is to run the 4x4 module self diagnostic. The 4x4 module is located behind the driver’s side rear jump seat on super-cab models, but as far as the other locations I don’t really know. This module will have three connectors going to it – one will be a pig tail, the other two will be located on the right side of it (side towards the front of the truck). These two connectors must be removed to diagnose the module. With the key in the off position, remove these two connectors from the module. Next, turn the key on with the engine off. On top of the module is a white rectangular button located next to a red LED….push the button and watch the LED.

a. If it flashes, this indicates the module is working properly. Go to the next step

b. If it lights up and stays on, it indicates that the module is likely bad. If nothing happens it means the module is either bad, or has no ground/power. In either of these instances power and ground should be verified before scrapping a 4x4 module.

And if your module is bad. I have a couple laying around.

Ok. Umplugged 2 wiring clips like it said. Made a " click " and led flashed 4 times. So the module is good so i now waitin on the mail to get here this wk with shift motor.
