So 4 years ago or so my brother bought the truck from my grandma for 1000.
2 years later it was beat to shat and i bought it for 500. 223,000 miles and a massive knock on the engine. its had it for the past 23,000. im losing power fast and i got a 91 s10 with a brand new engine from my uncle for 400 so the ranger is pretty much toast. my parents want me to just get it crushed but its the most known pos in this town. its fast and she slides sideways like a charm :)
i cant get rid of it. i just cant so its prerunner time!:yahoo:
here is what my dream was before i got the truck.

That side is fine. The other isnt. my friend went to town on my bed as you can see.

Nice graffiti bro, what's J-muff stand for?

Wow is that thing riced out lol Gonna look nasty after the build man

Yea it is riced for sure. I hope so. The Suckish thing is living in Helena Montana no one has a prerunner so hopefully I can start a new trend.

J muff is my nickname I used to take a muffin to work every day and then they started calling me muffin. Then they started calling me muff

My plan is to just do all right the first time and not waist money with say buy one okay suspension kit just get the right stuff the first time. I hope to have a cramburg race front kit. A McNeil racing 4 link all fox shox. 9" rear end, 35" or 37" tires, And a ford raptor conversion one peice in the front, and a conversion bed sides, all tube bed, roll cage, and 3 seats, with 3" harnesses, fiberglass dash, most like ly supercharged 302 with a Turbo 400 trany, front bumper, nice brakes, engine cage, fuel cell,2 spare tires
A nice radiator, nice GPS system, nice radio system,2 bajadesigns stealth light bars all the goodies. I hope to have a start as soon as I get the s10 licensed and incited

10k for a front end without shocks, that sucks. another 1800 for those, then you'll want bypasses to which will be another 3k roughly. there's $15000.

4k for the 4 link, at least they give you a rear end. but you'll want to spent another 4800ish on shocks for the rear to match the c/o, bypass and bump in the front.

honestly do not get the raptor conversions. they all look like the inside of a donkey's butt. our trucks are too small to make the huge head/tail lights and grill look right.

on and on top of the 24k mentioned above, you'll also need to tack a lot on for shipping, tax, and all of the misc. parts you'll end up needing that neither company told you about when ordering their parts. then factor in another 1-2k for fiberglass and tax/shipping (pray it doesn't get damaged by a careless delivery driver), another 1500-2000 for 4 tires and rims (to fit your new lug pattern on your 9" and race hubs), seats and harnesses (1500 + tax/shipping), and then tube and necessary tools to build it.

you got 30k sitting around to dump into a truck worth approximately $0?

let him be, if he wants to spend his money on it then its his choice,

10 grand is a bit much for an ibeam kit... unless its 4x4

but i digress...

good luck to you.. it adds up fast, just look at fast fabrications build

No I dont but its a project. And the only thing ill use is the cab and part of the chassis

i'm not giving him shit, just putting numbers out there. most people get discouraged when they see how much things actually cost, or get half way done with a project and run out of funds and get $40k in debt with only one hand dipping in the government's pot.

Also add about 5000 for stuff that comes up that you dont think of for starters...

And the extra 50 cents you gotta spend on the cheap hooker.

Or you could talk to Dave at Threat Motorsports. He has great products for tons cheaper than Camburg and them.
