89 4banger 4x4 trans

ok guys i looked in the tech page and it wasnt very clear to me. can any one tell me what tranny an 89 4x4 2.3 manual trans and transfer case would have been? is it the fm146 or somthing different? the truck didn't have a trans in it when i bought it thats why i'm asking so i have no way to id one. ( obviously i would have compared pictures with the tech page if it had ) thanks a bunch!

somewhere in the tech area there is a link from ALLEN_D that lists what year has what trans combination. I think (but could be wrong) that most had some sort of toyo kyogo generally a FM 145.
