Sounds like fuel/spark issue. Tune up? What do the spark plugs look like? Look at the distributor.

Get it running and grab each of the plug wires individually. If you find a problem you will know about it.
If that test passes hop under it and unplug the O2 sensor and see if it improves. If it does you may have a bad sensor or a bad ground.
