88 Ranger XLT

The 89TM heads? are they off of a spacific year 2.9l? I have a Couple of sets of heads at this point and I know a few are aftermarket replacemnts but im sure that they are not the World Class heads. I may just throw it together with what i got and see how long it lasts. The 1k miles a year it might see and at low boost may not even be enough to hurt anything.

The 89TM heads are the 89+ MY castings. They "fixed" the head cracking issue.

I miss my ranger, sold it for an f150 stupid me

So since the snow stopped I have been running the ranger around town. Shaking it down and stuff. Put about 500 miles on it so far and noticed 1 I need to put the steering stabilizer on. 2 need to fix my camber. 3 I need traction bars of some sort. I get stuck very easily in mud snow water gravel. Lol.

Good news is the 2.9l doesn't feel like it is lacking in power at all. I was worried about the auto trans slipping but that seems solid. I do need to calibrate the speedo but I think I'm going to wait till I swap in the 4.10s and dana 35 this fall.
Here is a couple of pics of me around town.

Been busy on the ranger fixed the dash built new drivers and pass side door panels installed a steering stabilizer and blue tooth head unit. Installed front wheel spacers and rear traction bars also swapped in a 4.0l rad. Took the truck to the truck show in carslile and then did a little trail driving up at my cabin.
