My truck is acting like a 3 speed with no overdrive. What could cause that? Please help

Tranny flush/filter/adjustments, etc. If you can't do it yourself you need to take it to a shop. How many miles on the truck that you know of?? Do you ever service it??

Already flushed and changed the filter. About 150000. And I service regularly

Over Drive Solenoid. Make sure it's getting vacuum and that it's functioning.

If you follow the "T" near the fuel pressure regulator, you'll notice that a vacuum line goes back behind the motor from it. Make sure that line is going onto the side of the trans (into the Solenoid)

If that's working as it should then perhaps the Over Drive Band broke. Hopefully not!

May be time for a rebuild, Bro. Take it to a shop and get it checked....a lot easier then trying to do keep trying everything and wasting your time. Could be something simple as well as an adjustment.

So if its something simple why take it to a shop? Last time I took my truck to the dealer (and I fully regret it) they charged me around $100 just for diagnosing a bad alternator that I already told them was faulty.

Double check all your vacuum lines, and double check the fluid running in park before its condemned to a bad band.

I said it could be something simple. If he can't do it himself take it to a shop. I do almost all my own work...but I won't rebuild a tranny myself. Are you good at rebuilding a trans? If you can..you are 'Da Man!!! lol.
I just think that If you can't figure out what is wrong you really are wasting your time and not being able to use the truck is stupid...take it somewhere.
