i got a leak somewhere around the drivers side floor.under the carpet its wet and its not beacause of my shoes because i have a set of rubber mats.its in the foot area in front of the seat and thats it its not coming from the firewall its dry up that way but to the left where the kick panel is and back to the seat and i cant see where its coming from so any ideas of where i could look?

Look for the hole in the floor pan.

what hole? the only hole i see is the one with a little rubber thing in it.

you say its not your windshield, but that is a really common problem with rangers... i thought my problem couldn't be that and that it was... don't assume anything. sorry to make you hear that. but like asdm said, it could also be a hole in the floor pan. not a pre existing hole, but i think he meant a RUST hole!

I think it is the windsheild seal because both side are we.but am going to do the water trick with the hose pipe and see if i can see where its coming in from

ok i sprayed some water on it and it looks like i need a new windsheild seal and two of the door seals the top one on the door itself and the other one around the door seal.Am going to buy the door rubber and put it on myself.what do you put it on with?weatherstrip adhesive or what?and am going to take the truck to a local bodyshop for the front windsheild. And i believe the passenger side just needs a new windsheild seal but ill check it to to make sure and also when i go to buy the door rubbber it says lh and rh i need lh for the drivers side dont i?thanks for the help

3M double sided tape.

Yes usually comes with the new seal.
