Ok this was my 88 ranger 4 years ago now its going to get a SAS. I also have plans for a 4.0 swap and auto tranny. Im no going to lie this is going to be a slow build. I am still trying to locate parts.

I had a 3" body lift and 32 1150 bfg mud terains on it. I also and a willing helper to keep it clean (lol).I startded stripping the inside of the truck on tuesday I will get pics tommarow as it was raining here today. Unable to get any work done.

Ihave not been able to get anything done this week due to rain. Hopefully we can get some dry weather and i can make some progress.

What kind of solid axle you going with, D30, D44 narrow or full width or a D60???

I just found my old thread lol forgot I had this. I am still in process of the build and have not done the sas swap yet. Right know I have to put the trans/transfercase back in so its running. Plus I just got a 4" suspension kit off another trucks for next to nothing. I will get some pics this weekend and updat the page.

Well got started on the work todat but forgot to take pics when I rembered my hands well so dirty. Oh well Have to take some befor I start tommarrow.

Went my my friends shop the other day and he had this winch bumper sitting in the corner. Another friend of ours had picked it up for his toyota but he rolled the truck. I called him up and asked him what he wasgoing to do with it, he said we could cut it for scrap. So I got the cutoff wheels out and cut it to fit looks good. I just have to take it back off and paint it.

I had to pull the trans back out today and I found the clutch rusted together. After I got it all out My friend called and said he found a chasie for me. Here are the pics.

Well got the trans/transfer case out of the chasie today and got it put in the truck. Now I have to figure out why Im not getting fuel to the motor. So its off to the parts store to get a new fuel filter and possably new fuel pumps

Well it rained today not able to get any work done but there is always tommarow

Tommarrow I'm have to tackle the keyed ignition that is stuck and will not turn or come out.

Well I worked on getting the ignition out today. It did not go as well as I planed.The end gear broke off of ingnition into the column. I guess now its time to locate a new column.
