88 Ranger 2WD Drop Bracket Question

I ordered some front Drop Brackets for my 88 to get some more clearance. I crawled underneath and it looks like the OEM brackets are bolted on the passenger side and riveted on the Driver side. Is this normal, or am I looking at the wrong brackets. I'll post some pics this weekend.

the long beam pivot bracket is bolted on, and the short beam bracket has rivits.
