My Ranger started out as a 2.9, 5 speed,2wd truck. It was given to me on my 16th birthday. We went through the clutch system and all the gaskets on the engine. This is how it stayed for 7k miles totaling at 92k original miles

Tragedy Strikes...

The transmission locked up on me and my friends coming back down the highway...drained the fluid and its black as my heart and less than a quart left...well time for new tranny. But you know that the 2.9 doesn't make it easy to get it out so i decided with bigger wheels its time to put the body lift on like i've been wanting to, and i also decided to go through the fuel system and paint the frame while i'm at it. I currently work on it everyday it's nice outside in my spare time.:icon_confused:

And finally. Body mounts went on today.

Anybody have any tips on getting leaf spring bolts out? I have them unbolted from the axle and the rear one came out but I've hammered the hell out of the front bolt and it won't come loose
