Well if the truck has been in your family the whole time, it might be easy to find out who did the bondo job. Looks like its new fender time. If it was running rich then wouldnt you have noticed your fuel milage drop alot?
So basiclly its giving to much fuel on start-up, which isnt helping an ignition system that needed worked one, and a brand new junk alternator, which hopefully it has a warranty on it. Did they get it started though?
i drove it to the shop this morning dude.
and i dunno what the problem is yet. ive read about something called a voltage regultor, anyone know if it exhists?
also, its been tossed around like the village bike so i dunno who did the bondo, and for a little while it was owned by some friends...
so im not concerned.
i'll fix the body once shes in good running condition and if its gonna be worth my while i'll "soup it up" haha ie bigger tires and new wheels, body work and paint i'd like to do myself, and exhaust and maybe a v8 one day.
