had a lil mishap last night haha always checl on the other isde of the metal your welding on or youll start your dash on fire lol but i needed a reason to do an 89-94 dash swap anyway haha heater box and firewall sound detening materal destriyed but no wires or plugs harmed
and a couple pics of the frame and fuelcell i also raised fuel cell about 3 inches and decided to go with a bed fill instead of a fuel door in the side old fuel door will be a power shut off
the center caps were a snug fit with 1" spacers on the front but look awesome, as long as the dust cover is on all the way cap fits perfect and it looks awesome with the 13" rotors
bed linered the underside of the cab with 2 coats and dropped body back on for a test fit hahaha really wishing i could afford to drop the front 4" there is 5 1/2" between tire and fender and made plate for over shifter hole thats why i did not bedliner in that 1 spot on tunnel
i re did my header collecters and replaced the 2 bolt compression flange with a 3 bolt flange on bout sides with 2.5" collecters and angled them to my liking also got a new dash, column, and heater box also my hydraulic handbrake came today!!!!!
i did a ladderbar setup shocks should be here this week using airshocks and a buick le sabre airpump to control pressure on a toggle, also i got the new dash in
also i decided to have my motor gone through at the last minute and im so glad i did 13 of my 16 hyd lifters were junk brand new e303 that was in my motor had to be polished because it was starting to get grooves from junk lifters the crank was junk, rod bearings .040 under, crank bearings .030 under, in one crank journal it was .030 off, it had 3 cracked rods but brand new hyperutetic pistons now...
oh yea it is now a 347 stroker, ARP head and rod studs,1.7 roller rockers on intake and 1.6s on exhaust 351 heads back cut with 1.94 stainless intake valves and 1.60 exhaust valves hardened seats about 12 hours of porting and polishing in each head, scat crank, scat forged 4340 rods, Kieth Black forged flat top pistons, Hastings rings, and clevete bearings
thanks so much Butch Patterson from Competition Products and Patterson race engines "Call us or screw it up yourself", Billy Fisher (may have herd his name in NASCAR engines and Roush racing) and Kevin Benner for all the time, machine work, parts, and porting that you guys have put into my motor
