88 b2 crawler build

Cross pin is for strength. I ended up putting the aussie in. Spartan was super loud but they both lock up great. I think a lot with it driving like shit is I made my own drivelines and they aren't balanced. I'm gonna have some made. Just sucks spending 400 dollars just on drivelines

400 for drivlines is CHEAP, a buddy just spent 600 for just the front on his toyota crawler

I think you could make them yourself with some heavy wall DOM tubing. Buy the correct yokes you need and weld them together. Take them to a shop where they can balance the shafts. Driveshaft balance job is around $50/shaft around here.

just have some made... professionally
IF you plan on driving it on the street you need it. and $400 is cheap.
personally i'd find some explorer shafts or something and make them work

600 for just the front ha your buddy is an idiot. 50 bucks would be cheap for me. Anyone who says 400 dollars is cheap is very generous. I already have Cherokee drivelines in it instead of the dinky little ones that came in it stock

400 for aftermarket shafts is cheap.. $600 per shaft is about normal. check here http://www.4xshaft.com/ and you'll see. good shafts are expensive, but WELL worth it if its a DD rock rig.

Idk if you have ever heard of 6 states but they are top of the line and a shot load cheaper. I would NEVER pay 600 dollars for a driveline. That's outrageous

Benny right the long slip is spendy I had Brian at driveline tech build my drivelines for my jeep 8 years ago. Some of the best money I've spent I've sat the whole weight of the rig on them and havnt broken them. Six states sucks by the way they can't even build drivelines to right length. Basically you pay what you get for.

Ive always had quality parts from 6 states and never had problems. It's personally opinion. I prefer to spend less lol I can buy my own slip for 100 bucks and give it to them and still save 100 bucks. I don't see what's wrong witb that

if you corrected some issues (once you find them) you can drive it on road..
its your call tho. its a great start on a rig. would make a great dedicated crawler also.. hopefully you can keep it. :icon_thumby:
