I am in the process of putting a 88 5.0 ho in my ranger, but running into problems with some of the wiring. The wiring harness i got with the motor has a ccrm ( constant control relay module). I can not find a wiring harness diagram anywhere for it. I have searched Google multiple times, also checked through mustang manuals. All i have been able to come up with is ones for the 2.3, 3.8 and 4.6's, which don't seem like the pin outs are the same. All the 5.0 wiring harness i have seen pictures of don't look like they have a ccrm connector. Is this something that is a hit and miss or what? If anyone could help me out with maybe a diagram or just what pin does what would be greatly appreciated.

Check out fordfuelinjection.com and rjminjecion.com They will have the wiring diagram and pinouts you need.

That makes total sense. However it does not have a mass air flow sensor on the motor. It ran with this harness before I bought it. So if it a 94,95 harness wouldn't the computer be to? Or can it have an 88 computer not requiring the mass air flow senser? I.ll grab a pic tomorrow of the harness.

Grab the code off the ECU, too. That will narrow it down quite well.
It will likely be T4M0 or J4J1 if it's the later manual Mustang.

As you can see some of the wiring has already been hacked up before. I bought the motor from someone who already had it in a 4runner crawler. I got it for a good deal, and its going into a none street legal crawler anyways, so doesn't have to be perfect, Just run good the rest of the harness was already in the truck, so i took a pic of what was visible. looks like it might of already been altered? Any help would be appreciated.

DA1 is indeed a Speed Density manual ECU.
My guess is that the CCRM was added to control fans. (only stock 5.0 I know of with efans is the '94/'95 Mustang) Try testing the continuity between it and the 60pin ecu connector, and various sensor connections to see where it's wired. Likely it's tied into the ECT sensor to control an efan. But I'm totally guessing.
It is no vital, so if you find out where it goes, it can be removed.

This is '87 or '88 Mustang, may help for checking the harness:
