Question?

I have an 1988 Ranger 4x4 with 2.9L V6 with 175,000 miles on it runs perfect no issues. How many miles are they good for it taken care of ?

Nobody really knows. There are so many variables that must be accounted for. HOWEVER there are lots of them running, as built, with over 300K on them.

i've got 175K on mine and i'm gonna run it until it blows

145K here. Purrs like a kitten and doesnt burn a thing (at least what's not considered "normal"). I think that it boils down to regular maintenance and care. Of course, you've gotta take extra care and keep it cool.
However, these guys are getting old which means it could of had its own run in's with previous owners who didnt care about it as much as you do. :annoyed:
