My dad is giving me his 1988 Ford Ranger with a 2.3L 5 speed stick. It's been sitting for about six years.
Things done:
Drained oil and replaced with new oil and oil additive.
Put new gas and gas additive in it.
Replaced the spark plugs.
Replaced battery.
Replaced distributor cap.
Replaced ignition coil.
Replaced rotor.

It's not the starter. The motor turns over but doesn't start. The spark is a yellow color.
I'm getting yellow spark at the plugs and they have gas on them.
