I heard this before and seems simple, wondering if i need to use a TB gasket for an 87 2.9? And what's really involved? unbolt, take off cable bolt on 87 Tb put cable back on and voila???

Also should i use the TB sensor on my 88 for it?

Yes, it's a direct bolt on. The throttle cable is clipped on, easy to get off, but I've sliced the crap out of my finger putting it back on. Small piece of index finger snapped in with the clip...

As far as the TPS, I swapped mine. You'll want to check/reset the base voltage once installed.

so u swapped the one from your 88 to the 87 TB? I dunno how to reset the voltage though, i replaced one on my dad's old tempo before... I had to fiddle with it to find ther right spot when u attach it to the Tb but i finally got it just right.... Plus did you use an 87 Tb gasket?
