87' Ranger revs too high?

I'm having issues with my truck, not too big of a deal but, I notice that it revs a bit high, I know this is normal when its cold but even after driving it for a while I notide that the revs are about 1.5 to 2k, i could of swore I saw my buddy adjust something under the hood that adjusted this, does anyone know? i cant remember..

Is it fuel injected? If so there is a little screw you can adjust right near where your air hose comes in. Could also be that your IAC is stuck partially open.
