okay so i decided that i want to lift my ranger just a little bit.. 2" maybe 3"..

i was going to go with the belltech 6400 in the rear to give 2" of lift

the problem is, my front end already is sitting lower than the rear (i have not measured by how much yet) so I was thinking of just doing 1" (maybe 2") spacers under the coils but a little unsure how to get my front end to sit fluent with the rear..

I have read through the tech articles but a little unsure where to go from here..
Any ideas or comments to give me?

Coil spacers under the coils are certainly an effective way to get the frontend up a little... Usually you can boost the front up about 2" before you run into other issues trying to realign your camber & caster.

More than 2" lift generally requires you go to a full suspension lift kit that gives you new axle drop brackets to keep your camber & caster alignment manageable. James Duff has some nice 2.5-3" offerings, Skyjacker offers a 4" kit.

I have been looking at lift kit for my 87 to. A lot of kits say they wont fit sxt or supercab. Just wondering what's the difference in the suspension?

STX is an inch or 2 taller from the factory. The parts will fit but won't lift as far over your stock lift.

So what would you say would be the best way to lift the front end of my truck say 2.5"-3" without spending a crap load of money for a whole kit?
