So this truck has been sitting in my parents basement for 8 years after the engine was rebuilt. Ive put so much work into this ive lost count of the hours. Anything that could go wrong has but thats what happens when something sits for that long. Has a 2.9 in at the moment. Just got done putting on the 4" rough country lift with 305/70r16 tires. Next week Im pretty sure im going to be putting on a roll on Rustoleum paint job. Ill put up some more pictures.

Next week im hopeing to get some rustoleum on it. Im tight on money and i got thoese tires cheap, thats why they are so close to the fender. I dont know much about body lifts but if its not too much of a problem ill prolly throw one on there. And if everything goes as planned next summer ill put a 4.0 in there.

anyone know how hard it is to put on a body lift is? From the looks of my brake lines i will have to extend those. Anything else?

The bed is cake, The cab is another animal from what Ive been reading. Some saw horses and/or big jack stand will make life alot easier on you.

Where can you find the instructions to install one. Ive looked around and cant find the actual directions for putting one on. The main pain on the suspension lift was all the friggin rivets ford decided to use. Grinding thoese rivets off was half the job,

kit should come witj instructions at least top gun customs advertises instructions included maybe they maybe could sell u just instructions if you dont wanna buy the kit from them... search it on ebay

body lifts are easy as pie. take your old bolts out, lift the body up and put the body lift in, put the new longer bolts in and tightin them up. oh and u gotta put your steering extension on but thats no biggie. But if i was you i wouldnt go the body lift way, i did it in my truck and wish i wouldnt have. id swap some 63" chevy leafs in and coil spacers in the front.

cant believe this thread is still going, posted it like 4 or 5 months ago. I did end up doing a cheap rustoleum paint job and the body lift. Once I get my credit paid off in goes the 302.

Seeing your truck makes me miss my 87 so much. Very clean, glad your working on it.

I know the nerf bars dont look to great but this is about what its gonna look like when im finished, plus about another 3 inches of lift.

looking good man! you can get that bumper moved up by removeing the 4 bolts and just sliding it up to the upper holes. (not as strong!) but looks alot better imo
