I have a 87 ranger ext cab the body is shot I can get a 99 ranger ext cab will the cab fit on the 87 frame and are the 99 wheelwells bigger or the same size ? I would like to do away with the body lift thanks for ur input

Not sure about fitment but I do know the wheel wells were widened in 89 by about 2 inches and stayed wider.

PM Kamshaft, he has an 87 cab on a 2001 frame. That is more or less exactly what you want to do in reverse.
