87 ranger auto to manual swap wiring questions

I've searched the site looking for this info and haven't found a concrete answer. I am swapping my a4ld with a fm146. I used a donor vehicle so I have all the harnesses at my disposal, can I swap out the entire harness so I don't have to splice wires? If not, what exact wires do I need to splice for the neutral safety switch and reverse lights? And I know I'm supposed to swap out the engine computer too. Its located in the kick panel on the passenger side floorboard right?
