alright guys, i took off the carb and there was a lot of junk in the bowl. i cleaned it out, cleaned out the needle valve and seat, removed and cleaned the jets, sprayed carb cleaner through every orafice i could find and blasted everything out with air. I also put in an electric fuel pump and regulator. It got a little better but not good still. Like I said, this thing purred like a kitten for a short amount of tiime. now i cant get it to run worth a damn. i also hooked up the bowl vent solenoid which i didnt have hooked up b4. i cant figure out what happed here. should i go full carb rebuild? I'm still wondering to if i overheated it. any help would be appreciated.

i would just get a new carb for it. but if you want, just rebuild it.

Fuel pressure. Might have too much or to little. I would check it.
