Hello all! I have a couple questions for those of you more experienced with wheels/tires on these trucks. My Truck is an '87 2WD Extended Cab Ranger, the truck is so far not lowered. What I am trying to do is put a set of 17x8 Mustang GT Wheels onto the truck. I've already determined what tires I need to put on the wheels so that the speedometer is almost unchanged, which are 245/45-17's. They fit great in the back, but up front when the wheel is cut either direction it begins to rub on the inner side of the wheel/tires. So my question is, can a wheel spacer give the wheels the proper spacing so they no longer rub on the inner side?? If so, what size spacer would you all recommend? Here are some pics of what the truck looks like so far....
