feel silly asking here but need the info so i can get the right bolts mate the engine and transmission, The truck was broken into and the box with all the hardware was taken . What i can remember is that the bolt had 9.8 on it and was about 2.5 inches long but dont know pitch to buy new ones ... can anyone help ? thanks in advance to all ....

9.8 SAE steel bolt M1.6 - M16 .... so i guess i need to know what m it is ... thanks all

Sorry about the break in!!!! It makes life tough having people around like that!!!

Well, if the parts guy at your Ford dealer is a nice guy he can look them up. I was in mine a few days ago and a guy comes in looking for intake bolts for a big block, guy looks them up and orders them.

But, I think I would go to my local yard and pull them. The trans won't fall out and you will know you got the right ones. My go to yard doesn't charge for bolts.
