Here is my junk,
87 ranger i got for free, i did a turbo coupe swap
it has the stock 7.5 and dana 28
i dont do any hard wheeling, mostly dirt trails.
I know my axle are going to break with 37's so dont tell me.
I plan on breaking them, and then doing a d44 or d60 swap.
i made the front bumper and i think it will be a pretty cool truck when done
nuff said. here are pics

Mirror build to what I'm doing, cept mine is an 88 long bed. That and I'm still finishing up my turbo swap. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread :D

well if you need any help on it i can provide my links for the wiring, show you how i did the exhaust, etc

I found a dana 44 and 9" from a 79 f150 today for 400, 1 ton axles maybe?

Ive got a D44/9" from a 78 bronco. Plan on running 16/38-15 tsl's on em. half tons should be fine, IMO. I believe (@ least my engine) the tc engine I about 150 hp and 190-ish ft/lbs (???) so I doubt you'll have (m)any catastrophic failures.

I would go tons, stock tons vs. built 1/2tons the tons win every time in price and strength.... plus you can build the crap outta tons if ya wanna go really big
