'87 has engine hesitation

My 87 Ranger has engine hesitation when cold. this goes away when it warms up a bit. It's a 2.3 liter and I was wondering if anybody might have any thoughts on how to take care of this.
 
How long since plugs and wires were done?
 
plugs and wires have been replaced within the last two months.
