87 franken ranger

When I bought my truck it didn't run an the wheels didn't match an had major rust

First was the 4.0 swap

The one of a kind manual 5sp

After I came home from deployment got the 20s on static 3/4 inch drop

It's been awhile since I posted on here but I have done nothing to the truck it's been on the side line ever since I lowered it.

My main goal right now is my 4wheel drive ranger

I did however take the 4.0 out to place in my 4x4

Nice find on the 72 Mach. I had a 71 Mach 1 with a 351C 4V, ram air and a 4 speed. It was a fun car. So you pulled the engine out of the Ranger you lowered to put in the 4x4 ?

Yeah 4.0 is great for the crawler but my plan is to place a Ford lighting motor with supercharger in the 2wd

Mine has the ram air hood but the guts are gone an someone placed that air filter on it

I picked up a 96 mercury mountaineer with the 5.0 and disc 8.8 for 400 bucks tranny needs a new torque converter but that's it it 2wd is this a good motor to put in the ranger I may also have a supercharger comeing for it I don't wana do all the work and it be a waste of time

I want this truck to scream down the road not dog out at high speeds

Not bad. Will have to keep an eye out for you when I am in town with my Ranger.

It well be a while before it's ready to hit the road again gonna clean up the motor and hopefully if the parts god is welling it well be supercharged

I finally got some time to pull the ranger into the garage unfortunately were I parked the truck the ground was soft and has sunk I was smart enough to put old tires and a tarp under it to keep the frame off the ground so wish me luck on pulling it out off the hole its sunk in.

Got the truck out of its hole pulled it out with the honda Forman 500 I'm suprised it pulled it now I'm just waiting for parts to collect up

i have a frankenranger too...i seen a chassis over of 95 on a side road a lil while back....dont remember the ranger though.

I haven't seen his nor do I know we're that is I've seen a few on 95 also they come and go quick around here
