I have an 87 bronco I was wondering what driveshaft will fit the rear I have a CV joint type now I want to go to u joint

I think a bronco has the shortest driveline so nothing else fits. You might be able to find a drive line with the same small bolt pattern on both ends and cut it shorter.

If you have a manual trans the front shaft from an Explorer should fit nicely. To make it easier you can get a front output yoke from a BW1345 case and it will bolt onto the rear output of your t-case (I know it works on the 1354, I think it works on the 1350).

Yeah, rear output is same config 1350 or 1354.

×2, a front driveshaft from a D35 TTB-equipped truck should fit right in there if you have the FM145 trans. It has a dual-cardan CV also, good if you have (or plan to install) a suspension lift. You'll also need the mating flange/yoke to fit it to your rear axle pinion flange (you can grab this from the rear driveshaft of pretty much any '90-'97 RBV).

If you have the A4LD, you can still do this swap, however you will have to have the driveshaft shortened about 2" at a driveline shop (probably be <$100).

I also have a good cv style. It came from an 87 with an A4LD

The d35 case front explorer shaft is a "bolt in" and I have done it twice, once on a stock B2 and on my lifted one I needed a first ger and 2nd gen combo. If yours is stock height it is the perfect swap, sorry bout tight JY pricing as I got mine for 25$ Tip of mine is get to know the counter guys and "greasing the skids" w a bottle always helps the re-pore.

I grabbed an early 90s exploder rear drive shaft, grinded off the weld that holds the yoke on, cut it down with a table saw, put the yoke on the same position as i cut it off at, welded it back up. Drives 80mph with no shake or vibrations
