1987 2.3 Ranger 2wd manual. 160k just replaced head with roller cam head of same casting.Ran great for 300 miles BUT now:
GUYS , seen you pull off some wild things here so please help me out if you can[
Runs GREAT when cold. After 50 -75 miles of warming up the engine stumbles when at light to medium load at lower rpm. If I down shift or go to neutral it revs just fine ( especially above 2300 rpm). Runs good at high speed but absolutely stumbles as if out of gas at lower rpm and a load no matter what gear range. NO codes being thrown except 52 - power steering pressure switch code which is shot. New O2 sensor.New TPS (throttle pos switch sensor). new temp sensor, water pump, wires cap rotor plugs, fuel tank pump filters etc. Tried swapping out MAP sensor but same problem. Exhaust is new and clear cat. Checked all vacuum lines too. When I installed TPS I applied voltage and adjusted position until I got just over 1 volt. Only thing I haven't tried is a new MAT sensor. Any and all ideas appreciated
