I am lost on this one. Here is a bit of history new YFA carburetor, new Dura spark 2 distributor, cap, and rotor. New coil ,new ignition control module. engine will start from cold and will hold a (fast idle) nicely. No smoke or heavy fumes out the exhaust. Soon as I hit the throttle again she dies!
All of ports on the carb is plugged the distributor advance is hooked to the intake manifold. Cold compression is 115-115-120-120. The egr vacuum port is also blocked. I have let the engine idle fast for about one- two minutes then step on the throttle. Is this too short of a time frame? Today it is about 68F I turned the idle mix screw in then two turns out same results! once she dies restart is almost imposable?
Please help James!
