Great build man I like the progress and especially those wheels. Nice biking too, I'm a fellow MTB finatic. Good luck on your next race.

Need to wrap it around the side and up to the rear wheels.

I guess it's time for an update. 2 days before valentines day the truck was sideswiped, bending the drivers side beam, cross member, rad arm cross member, dented door and fender and smashed mirror. After my insurance got done with it, they claimed was worth 500 but would cost 4k to fix and totaled it. I bought it back and got a check for 560, sold my 33's for 550 and am now gather a 91 yj d30 15x10's with 35at's rancho 44044 leafs and liquid iron slider boxes. Right now I'm waiting on the guy to pull the 30 and wheels from his jeep and my slider boxes should be here by Monday. The goal is to keep it as low as possible with 0-2" lift in the end. Will have pictures of damage up later but will hopefully be able to start mid next week. Won't be getting done fast due to working 6 11's at work right now but will try to get er done fast.

Picked up the leaf rings this weekend and got the axle and wheels today, time to start tearing her down and get her back on the road err dirt again.
Compressed the springs a bit with the jack. Rancho 44044's

And a full size spare

One of the tires has a plug in the side wall and the spare has a slow leak somewhere so I might have the spare fixed and move it onto the other wheel to get me threw summer.

Need to finish brakes and steering today them drive to work to measure for my shocks. Should have ford f250 shock mounts here tomorrow to use for mounting shocks on.

So ended up having issues with my steering contacting the springs with it spring over, so I went spring under. Currently I have about 3-4" of clearance between axle and frame/k-member, just need to trim it a little more to clear the steering.
Over all stance now

Sweet sas group!
So now you just need to pull the coil buckets off and go get yourself some f-250 shock towers. :icon_thumby:

Thanks. Drivers coil bucket has been off for a bit but been to lazy to pull the other. Picked up the f250 shock towers today and last week got some 12" travel skyjacker shocks. Hopefully wrap it up on Monday when am back from a 24hr mtbike race

Well that sounds perfect!
Do work!
Get first place! :icon_thumby:

Kind of a random question.
Were you expecting to get more lift out of though springs, or was that where you were wanting it?
Also, arnt those sliders suppose to be at the back of the spring not the front??
I don't know much about them, but it just seems like you would want them in the back...
Lastly, do they make a lot of nose or are they pretty quiet??

was hopping to get some lift out of them but im now on the hunt for some 4" lift wagoneer springsseems these havent even settled yet. from what i have read on the sliders, you can run them front or rear mounted on the front end of a rig just like with shackle setups. the truck still isnt drivable but hopefully monday i will be driving it and can let you know if they are noisy.

by the way, your truck is looking nice and looks capable in your rubicon videos.

Well you could look for some new springs or you could just lower your leaf spring mounts???
Probably be cheaper. Build a 4" box between your sliders and frame. Then you could kind of do the same in the rear? That way the new springs you just bought dont go to waste. :icon_thumby:

But thanks a lot.
You will be ready for the Rubicon soon too!

Had a little bit of time while the girlfriend was napping(damn hydros make her sleep lots!) to get a couple more things done. Remounted my mud flaps on the front and put some flares on the front fenders as well to cover the tires a bit better.

Not too shabby. At first it looked like you put a solid axle in and then lowered the truck lol.
