86 Bronco II... G-Unit

Probably not a good idea to keep any official record of what is spent... if you do... hide it from the wife.

I'm all in at 5K with a title transfer... a years worth of plates and a $100 worth of parts that are on the way. It's just gonna go up from there...

Not for nothing, there are not many old school rigs you can get up and running for 5 to 10k anymore. Try doing that with a Land Cruiser or a Land Rover!!! Or an Original Bronco!!!!

I'll take my little B2 any day  Even if it handles like crap, feels like its going to tip over at any moment, and houses one of the worst motors ever made :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I'm with everyone else. Nice score for the price. Take your time and enjoy it, if not let me know and I may take it off your hands lol.

I used E fans i picked off a chevy cavalier at the junkyard, wire to a 40a relay and a cheap toggle on my last B2. It was under $50 said and done. It was one of my favorite mods, heated up quicker in the winter, stayed plenty cool in the summer.

I will do something along those lines... but it will have a temp switch and turn on with the A/C too. I haven't dug into it far enough to list the specifics... but i might wire in an emergency override switch.

They're expensive, but the PWM controllers from DC Controls are worth a look.

I had been looking at a unit from Dakota Digital.

I can't seem to find the controllers from DC controls... you have a link?

An RBV build IS therapy.

Seems the deck has been stacked against me for getting much time to work on this thing, It's rained for days here and I can't get it in the garage and work on it. My parts finally came in yesterday and were the correct ones this time. I've spent most of today doing the honey do stuff... but it looks like I will have a solid day maybe two to play with my new toy.

Are you my neighbor? Your weather is identical to mine lol.

Probably close enough rusty. We couldn't buy rain all summer.

I also find it strange that the trees here are still green... we have hardly any fall color at this point.
