How do you get all the leaves and junk out of the ducting of the heater/AC. My Bronco has been parked for a while and I started it the other day and I heard the FAN motor rattling leaves and NO air was coming from the ducts. It was parked under a tree so I KNOW its leaves and Dirt.

Thanks!

There are 2 access panels under the hood. One is in the middle and the other is about where the clutch fluid reservoir is/would be. Also the exterior heater/ac box can be removed to better reach more though I'd just take the blower motor out. Plus the heater core can be removed from inside too very easily. And if the drains are clogged you can take the outer fenders off to clear them.

I just stopped parking near trees. They all come out eventually.

I took the fan motor and heater resister out and cleaned it all out from there. What about the OTHER side of the evaporator Coil? Do I need to remove that black cover in the engine compartment also?
