85_Ranger4x4's Detroit TRS Trip

Good catch, I totally missed that!

I can't take the credit, somebody pointed it out on Facebook. Still, I love the idea of baby Raptor sporting the same 450hp 3.5 as the F-150. Come on Ford, don't let my dreams be dreams!

Some more looking over the fence... at the big gun of the midsize truck world:

It is a worthy adversary. Truck itself feels nice, it does have some issues I know of but if Toyota would fix them it could make it a lot rougher for Ford.

With a very limited amount of time left (97' left the night before, fastpakr left an hour before and Bobby had been AWOL for several hours) Jim took me to see the exotic cars he had found earlier.

I love this color. :icon_thumby:

On our way out to wait for our ride to the airport. :bawling:

A good quote from the Ranger display. Photos from my phone didn't mesh with my camera pics.

Then back to the airport.

My ride home, a CRJ900. They were late getting to the airport, disembarking passengers like 15 minutes before our supposed boarding time.

Huge thanks for Jim and Ford for making this once in a lifetime trip possible. :icon_thumby:

You guys found some areas I never made it to. Lots of fun stuff at the show. Wish I'd found the NSX and the other things near it. Still, getting to see the Chiron was worth the trip by itself. Never thought I'd get to see a Veyron or Chiron. Ridiculously cool cars. The BMW M760i xDrive was stunning at a fraction of the price. The whole show had me feeling like a kid in a candy shop.

You were looking pretty happy in the BMW

Same here, I could have easily spent another couple days there.

The more I keep looking at this Ranger, the more I want it! I just wish it was the Lariat with leather.

what's sad is to think that this truck will probably end up at The Crusher and never into the hands of an owner
