I am wondering if the lift on my 85 ranger will fit on my 92 explorer because my ranger won't pass smog. Thanks in advance.

Kinda. It will make the front taller and the back shorter.

How tall is the lift?

If it's 5" or 6", you can do a SOA on the rear of the Ex using the stock leafs. It should sit level then.

If 4", then you'll need to source a set of 4" lift rear Explorer springs (AKA 6" lift Ranger leaf springs) and keep it SUA.

Yeah so like adsm said, it will drop the rear of an Ex rather than lift it.

You need lifted leafs for the rear, but all the front stuff (except for possibly the swaybar) will fit fine.

No prob.

Good luck on it.
