85 Ranger 4x4 questions

Hey, I've got an 85 Ranger with 2.8 and the FM-145 Mitsubishi transmission and am in need of shifter bushings. I read the tech article about replacing bushings, but didn't know if it was transmission specific. Anyone have experience replacing these on this trans, or know if the parts are the same or can be used? Its pretty bad as I have like 4-5 inches of side movement when it is in gear. Any help/info appreciated

ok after looking for an answer I found that you have to replace the whole shift lever assembly, p/n is E6TZ7210C thats the ford number. Hope this helps someone.
