85 Ford Ranger

I'm currently owning and repairing my ranger that I've owned since 2013. It's been through hell, two rebuilds that failed due to my inexperience. I'm not giving up. It's a basic 4x2 toyo 5 speed with a 2.3 from a 79 boom pinto. I've decided to buy a rebuilt motor from Oreilys..... not sure this is the best option but hey, maybe it'll be okay. I'm in the process of buying tools. Any suggestions will be helpful.
