Get a extension and run the oil pump (after the new oil, filter and comp check) You can run it with a drill and check your oil pressure while the dist, is out. Then find TDC and drop that dist in there. Hopefully the PO didnt change cams (min runs a 351 profile, so the firing order is different from the 302). Get your wiring sorted out and the coil in there and give it a go. With fuel, spark and air, it should fire. If it does, finish buttoning up the loose ends ( vacuum lines, loose or floating wires, bad hoses, etc...). If it doesnt, make sure and note what its doing, no fuel, wont crank, no spark, and get back to us.
