Nice. I like your paint scheme. Definitely nice for anyone with alot of rust in the lower end of the truck

i didnt have any rust but its just for low trees and stuff and i can touch it up quick. but yea it would work good for some one with rust.

cut all the sheet metal below the grill and stick the winch above the frame, the truck looks pretty good

got a little bit done today :yahoo: that was after this happened this morning. i had to go pull him out next to the river. he popped the tire off the bead.

i cut the front of the frame horns off and cut my about 1/4 inch off my 1/4" x12x30 to slide it between the rails. im gonna bolt it in with 4 1 1/2" grade 8 bolts with washers and lock washers.

Thanks jon. Thats what i was gonna do but when i take off the body lift it would be too high up. i would rather do that but idk i gotta take a look at it again and move some stuff around.

yea looks just like it lol hmm maybe silver rims would look better on mine idk?

before i bolt it all up im gonna beef up the plate with a box. kinda like a battery tray upside down made out of 1/4" thick angle.

just cut the grill out or trim around the winch, plate across the top of the frame and angle cut your frame back...youll be alot happier with the end result and alot higher bumper that your not going to get hung up on everywhere.

i put mine up as high as possible to try and keep some approach angle.

as for the wheels i kind of like both, dont think you can go wrong either way...

here it was with gunmetal tri-bars
