long time no post.. anyway
I had my truck at the shop and when I went to pick it up my floor shifter was all F'ed up. Its a 4 speed with OD.
My shifter was out of wack by 90* instead of pointing straight back (coming out of the transmission and pointing towards the seat... it was twisted and pointing toward the drivers side?????? (coming out of the transmission and going toward the drivers side.. WTF..
I went in and got the mechanic to show him and ask what happened to my shifter... He came out and said yeah I may have gotten a little rough with it.. then he grabbed the shifter at the transmission and twisted the lever back to the proper location??????
My shifter has been a little sloppy but never that bad and never moved like that ....
So my question is did he F up my shifter or is that something or how they can move...
