Curious about the compatability of early 90's explorer coils on a 1983 ranger. Looking to ad 1-2 inches of lift in the front for leveling and to stuff in a little bigger tire. Also curious about how i could get a little lift in the back easily. Can i just get a bigger block with longer u bolts? or maybe a add a leaf, whichever would be cheaper and easier. Feedback would be appriciated thanks.

Explorer coils should fit fine.

For the rear, the two best options are either Explorer leaf springs, or extended shackles. Either one should get you about 1.5-2" lift. Stay away from taller blocks though.
